This June is once again very eventful and we are once again present with our association at Makers United and show all kinds of objects, projects and subjects from our repertoire.
In addition to our own exciting work from the cross-sectional areas of software, electronics, 3D printing, lasers and more, we will be exhibiting what our French guests are currently working on with us - including the ForceWheel by Mathieu Rietman, which we will be transforming into an open source hardware project in the coming months (see also In the north of France: a travelogue), as well as an escape game by Léon Reboul (Vulca Member) in collaboration with the Museum für Naturkunde Chemnitz.
At the same time, we have been supporting several guests from the Maker Residencies programme since 11 June, making ideas visible, tangible and conceivable. Among others:
- Magdaléna Nováková from Prague, Czech Republic - various works with biomaterials, moulds and recycling
- Aurélien Guestin from Annecy, France - robotics to try out with self-built BCN3D MOVEO gripper arm robots
- Ivan Iovine from Offenbach, Germany/Italy - robotics, microelectronics and biomaterials combined
Where you can find us
You will find our stand in the Stadthalle hall inside the Stadthalle.

Quote from the homepage: "makers united is the participative festival for young and old where technology, crafts, art and science (STEAM) come together. Find your strengths, discover new things or just try things out. There is definitely something for everyone at makers united: Children's university / hands-on participative stands / entertainment. Mark the dates in your calendar and be there in the Stadthalle and in the Stadthallen Park in Chemnitz!"
